Scouting provides youth with skills such as self-confidence, leadership, goal setting, citizenship, and mental / physical fitness. These programs require the support of our community.
100% of your gift stays in the 22-county area of the Andrew Jackson Council and helps us deliver the promise of Scouting to the thousands of youth and volunteer leaders that are a part of the Scouting program in central Mississippi.
Your Gift Provides:
- Local programs and activities for Scouts, Scout Leaders, and Scout Families.
- Camping scholarships and registration fees for youth who could otherwise not participate
- Opportunities to attend summer camp and high-adventure events such as Philmont, Northern Tier, Florida Sea Base, and Summit Bechtel Reserve.
- Advancement opportunities for Scouts.
- Training, recordkeeping and other support services for youth and adults.
